Under the direction of the concrete production manager, the concrete loader / batch plant operator is primarily responsible for the production of concrete blocks, ready‑mix concrete production, and the monitoring of initial on‑site quality control.
Duties- Batch ready‑mixed concrete efficiently.
- Load mixers and coordinate received materials.
- Order, monitor, and inventory materials supplied to the batch plant.
- Inform dispatch and the plant manager immediately of any issues that would inhibit production.
- Inspect and maintain all belts and equipment and submit report detailing activities.
- Always ensure a safe and healthful work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Good computer skills including mobile batching, general knowledge of concrete, basic knowledge of heavy equipment, basic knowledge of algebra and ability to work with large numbers, basic knowledge of industrial plant functions.

Will drive/operate a loader majority of the time during the shift. - Weight Lifted
:
Must frequently be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds. May occasionally lift items above their head. For safe lifting, coworkers can assist with heavy objects. - Physical Movement
:
May frequently be required to climb ladders, walk over uneven ground, balance, stoop/crouch, kneel, grab and hold objects. - Speaking / Listening
:
Needs to be able to communicate well with customers, co‑workers, supervision, receive and follow instructions, and understand safety requirements. Spanish speaker preferred. - Working Conditions
: 20% of time will be spent working outside in the elements. - Safety

Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
