Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and adjust filling machines to ensure efficient and accurate product filling.
  • Monitor machine performance during production runs and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance, including cleaning and sanitizing machinery according to company protocols.
  • Conduct weight checks, volume checks, and other quality control measures to ensure compliance with product specifications.
  • Identify and report any mechanical issues, product inconsistencies, or safety hazards to the supervisor or maintenance team.
  • Complete production records and batch documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Assist in the changeover of equipment for different products or batch sizes as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and resolve operational challenges.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and arms to operate equipment.
  • Frequently required to lift and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Perform repetitive motions, including bending, reaching, and twisting, in a fast‑paced production environment.
  • Work in an environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience operating filling machines or working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in dietary supplements, food, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address minor equipment issues.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, batch records, and technical documents in English (bilingual English/Spanish is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to operate lifting equipment.
  • Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
