Pay: $15.00-$18.00/hour DOE
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM-3:30 PM | Friday 6:00 AM-11:00 AM Benefits Available Medical, Dental, Vision Simple IRAVoluntary Life Insurance Up to 6 PTO days per year and 6 Paid Holidays What You'll DoSand wood products to achieve a smooth, consistent finish
Apply sanding sealer to wood products according to company standards
Follow all quality and safety procedures, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality standards
Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
Maintain sanding equipment and tools in safe working condition
Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready
Report equipment issues or safety concerns to management immediately
Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience operating shop machinery preferred
Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, work orders, and measurements
Basic understanding of woodworking tools, equipment, and shop practices preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train in other areas of the shop Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Physical Requirements & Work Environment Work is performed in a warehouse and woodworking shop environment
Regular standing for extended periods throughout the workday
Frequent repetitive use of hands, wrists, and fingers
Frequent bending, reaching, grasping, pushing, and pulling materials
Regular lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds
Exposure to wood dust, sanding equipment, machinery, and production noise
Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including closed-toe shoes, eye protection, and hearing protection
