Position: Craftsman Machinist Technician with Security Clearance
Description
* Perform all phases of part machining including:

* Review part/component/system technical data for completeness and accuracy

* Process definition & development of documentation

* Identify tooling, jig and fixture requirements & support/input/review of engineering designs

* Perform set-up tasks

* Rough and finish machining

* Other duties as assigned Requirements
* Education/Training (both required and desired):
* Associate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred

* Experience:

* 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required
* Security:
* Must be a US citizen
* Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
* Physical Requirements

* Able to assess, install, and modify equipment, and inspect machinery

* Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp and reach with hands and arms, handle and operate hand/power tools and machine controls

* Perform frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements

* Prolonged periods of standing while operating machinery

* Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear (e.g., eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, etc.) for the assigned task

* Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time Benefits
