LOCATION:
Layton, UT PAY RATE: $26-27/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
- Perform production assembly operations on structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Obtain and maintain all required certifications.
- Use a computer in a production environment.
- Read and interpret technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
- Use various hand and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, ratchets, torque tools, crimpers, multimeters).
- Perform self-inspection of work for quality and check for Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Carry/lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical activities such as kneeling, bending, standing, and walking.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or technical certification required.
- Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
- Experience using digital multimeters (DMMs).
- Proficiency in Excel, wiring, and soldering.
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and compliance.
- Ability to read from computer screens, printed drawings, or technical documents.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred
Skills:
- Additional experience in wiring, soldering, and use of DMMs.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and aerospace assembly processes.
- Experience working in a regulated production environment
