On-Call Nurse - RN - Home Health and Hospice

Dignity Home Health and Hospice is growing and looking for an On-Call Registered Nurse to join our team! We are in need of an experienced On-Call RN who is passionate about providing the best possible care for our patients.

1 year of hospice and home health experience preferred.

Location:

Layton, Utah

• Make visits to patients as needed after hours; assessing the patient's needs at the place of their residence (private residence, assisted living, skilled nursing facilities)
• Answering calls; helping from patient's, families and facilities
• Admission of new patients after hours
• Completing all documentation and charting accurately and in a timely manner

• Self-motivated and dependable
• Strong clinical skills using critical thinking and reasoning
• Compassionate and caring
• Detail and deadline oriented
• High ethical standards
• Works well with others and as a team member
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with medical software and computer skills
• Reliable transportation

• Current CPR certificate
• Valid Utah driver license with car insurance
