CR Lighting & Electric is seeking an experienced Field Safety Specialist to support and promote a strong safety culture across our operations. In this role, you will work closely with management and field teams to implement safety programs, provide training and coaching, ensure regulatory compliance, and help create a safe and productive work environment for all employees.

This position is ideal for a safety professional who is passionate about employee development, risk reduction, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the implementation of company safety, health, and risk management programs.
  • Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Maintain records related to workplace incidents, workers' compensation claims, liability claims, and other safety-related documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies.
  • Perform jobsite safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments.
  • Assist operations teams in identifying, correcting, and preventing workplace hazards.
  • Develop and deliver safety training, educational materials, and awareness programs.
  • Track safety performance metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Analyze workplace trends and provide recommendations to improve safety performance and employee behaviors.
  • Promote best practices through presentations, meetings, written communications, and digital platforms.
  • Partner with operations leadership to drive continuous improvement and achieve safety goals.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations, safety audits, risk assessments, and corrective action planning.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence and build positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
