Quality Assurance Technician

Essential Responsibilities:- Ensure product specifications are met and that company policies and procedures are followed.
- Conduct production equipment and room clearing.
- Manage packaging line clearing.
- Authorize rework as necessary.
- Perform cleaning verifications.
- Review in-process documentation.
- Conduct yield investigations and product sampling.
- Ensure the production of products meets the company's stringent quality standards from start to finish.
- Liaise with production and customer service departments to ensure that projects are initiated, executed, and completed according to federal regulations.
- Conduct point step process reviews and materials reviews.
- Verify labels against work orders to ensure product accuracy.
- Manage line clearing and documentation control.
- Ensure all employees adhere to cGMP requirements within the facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of GMPs and experience with nutraceuticals.
- Exceptional written and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and directions.
- Capability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and efficiently complete assigned tasks.
- Decision-making skills based on company guidelines.
- Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
- Adaptability to a dynamic environment and effectiveness during major changes in responsibilities.
- Integrity and personal responsibility for performance.
- Knowledge of Dietary Supplement GMPs.
- Experience in the dietary supplement industry.
- Auditing experience preferred but not required.
- Experience enforcing SOPs and product specifications.
- Proficiency in all MS Office Suite programs;
Excel experience required. - Strong mathematical skills.
- English proficiency required.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; converse, listen, taste, or smell.
- Must exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- May be exposed to a dusty environment and/or considerable noise.
