Job Summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented Pastry Chef who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community. In the role, you will be part of a dynamic team offering a menu of over 40 fresh baked pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins made with honest, whole ingredients.

• Full or part‑time positions available.
• Must have early morning availability.

• Proven track record in the kitchen following recipes and paying close attention to detail to create one‑of‑a‑kind pastries & baked goods.
• Ability to lift large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies weighing 50 lbs or more; able to stand, lift, and mix daily.
• Ability to work through change and remain flexible while keeping a close eye on cooking.
• Love of rising before sunrise – all Pastry Chef shifts start early.

• 1+ years of large‑scale baking/pastry experience, especially decorating pastries quickly (preferred, not required).
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal food handler & sanitation standards.
• Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
