Part-Time Storage & U-Haul Dealer Associate

Layton hills storage is a locally owned and operated storage facility and authorized U-Haul dealer. We provide secure storage solutions and reliable truck and trailer rentals to our community. We take pride in excellent customer service, well-maintained property, and a smooth rental experience. We are looking for a part time assistant to cover shifts on Friday and every other Saturday.

• Assist customers with storage unit rentals, payments, and inquiries.
• Process U-Haul truck and trailer rentals, including check-in and check-out procedures.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance on U-Haul equipment (fuel levels, cleanliness, tire checks, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including sweeping units and common areas.
• Monitor security, check locks, and report any issues.
• Handle customer accounts and rental agreements using computer software.
• Assist with marketing efforts, including social media updates and promotional materials.
• Perform light maintenance tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and payment processing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light physical work.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (for moving U-Haul vehicles).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, property management, or vehicle rental is a plus.

• This position will be covering the location on Friday and every other Saturday.
• 8-16 Hours more hours available on an as needed basis.
