As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness.

- Be a Team Member:
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner. - Be an Expert:
Understand the processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise (for example, taste, preparation method or use, seasonality); prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards; maintain product safety and follow company sanitation guidelines; and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. - Be a Techie:
Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. - Be an Owner:
Drive the performance of the area; utilize digital tools; use perpetual inventory management techniques to stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality; and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. - Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members.
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area.
- Receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner.
- Maintain inventory to prevent out‑of‑stock and over‑stock products.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Will successfully complete all required training and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.
- Passion for and experience with produce.
