** Job Description
** The Cashier Team Lead is responsible for coordinating and supervising Cashier employees, opening and closing the store, receiving payments, and issuing receipts, as well as keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a leadership customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. Previous experience with employee work schedule coordination, customer sales/returns, and loss prevention is a plus.

* What You Will Do:

*** Successfully execute store opening and closing procedures
* Lead, train, and support cashiers to ensure excellent customer service and smooth daily operations
* Receive payments from customers and issue receipts
* Track and balance all cash and credit transactions within the respective cash register
* Interact with customers to understand their needs or answer any questions
* Count money accurately and efficiently
* Operate the cash register and point-of-sale systems
* Use computers for basic daily tasks
* Answer customer questions and provide excellent service
* Assist with stocking merchandise and organizing products on the sales floor
* Perform general cleaning tasks to ensure a neat, safe, and welcoming store environment
* Safely lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing approximately 50 pounds (more or less) as needed
* Maintain a flexible approach and be willing to take on additional duties as needed to support the team and store operations## Qualifications

* Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to returns and exchanges

* Monitor the store for potential theft, including observing customers and reviewing security footage
* Train other employees on theft prevention and returns processes
