We’re seeking an experienced, hands‑on Working Concrete Foreman to lead a small crew in forming, placing, finishing, and curing concrete—primarily commercial work. You’ll be a field leader who plans jobs, directs crews, enforces safety and quality standards, and works alongside the team to get the job done right and on time.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise all concrete operations: layout, formwork, placement, finishing, curing, and strip/inspection.
  • Break projects into stages and accurately estimate labor, materials, and sequencing for each phase.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and layout plans; coordinate closely with site superintendents and other trades.
  • Schedule and order concrete pours, delegate tasks, and provide clear on‑site direction and coaching.
  • Ensure formwork, shoring, and rigging follow engineered designs and safety requirements.
  • Inspect stripped concrete; direct repairs and finishing to meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate daily records of labor, material usage, and job hours; help monitor costs to stay on budget.
  • Lead toolbox talks, enforce OSHA and company safety protocols, and cultivate a safe jobsite culture.
  • Troubleshoot site issues and resolve problems that could impact quality or schedule.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of concrete experience with proven commercial concrete expertise.
  • Hands‑on leader comfortable working alongside crew members.
  • Strong ability to read blueprints, layouts, and engineered drawings.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time‑management skills; able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with superintendents, subcontractors, and crew.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving ability and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver’s license.
