General Laborer – Pool & Spa Construction

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Laborer to assist with the construction, renovation, and repair of swimming pools and spas. This role involves hands‑on work across multiple phases of pool construction including excavation, plumbing, tile and coping installation, deck work, and general site support.

This is an entry to mid‑level position with strong growth potential for individuals interested in developing skills in the pool and spa construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist crew with daily job site setup and cleanup
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines

• Assist with layout and preparation of pool sites
• Support excavation crews (digging, trenching, grading)
• Help with back filling and site leveling

• Assist with plumbing, equipment setup, and installation
• Help with rebar placement and forming (when applicable)
• Support concrete prep and pours

• Assist in installing waterline tile and pool finishes
• Help set and level coping stones or cantilever forms
• Mix mortar, thinset, and grout as needed

• Assist with forming and pouring concrete decks
• Help with paver installation and deck finishing
• Support sealing, coating, and finishing processes

• Assist technicians with pool and spa repairs
• Help troubleshoot basic issues under supervision
• Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials

• Prior construction or labor experience preferred (but not required)
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work on uneven terrain
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments for extended periods
