$20–$34

Find the water. Find where it came from. Stop it. Rebuild it right. Water damage forensics is detective work — and Dallas has been solving these mysteries for 50 years.

Water damage work at Christensen Stucco is forensic — find the moisture source, map the full extent of damage, dry it completely, then rebuild. This is one of the most skilled and satisfying jobs in the trade.

7:30 AM

Site Assessment

Walk the property with Dallas. He reads the exterior like a map — staining patterns, crack locations, flashing conditions. You learn to see what he sees. This is the most valuable education in the trade.

8:30 AM

Moisture Probe Investigation

Systematic moisture probe testing behind the stucco. Map every wet area before any demo. Dallas never starts tearing off stucco until he knows the full extent of the damage.

10:00 AM

Controlled Demo

Remove stucco, EIFS, or Hardie in affected areas only. Inspect sheathing and framing. Every soft spot documented and photographed. Dallas communicates everything to the homeowner — no surprises.

12:00 PM

Sheathing and Framing Repair

Replace damaged sheathing and framing. Structural drying if needed. Dallas doesn't put new material over wet framing. Ever.

2:00 PM

Rebuild Begins

New moisture barrier, new lath or foam board, new base coat or EIFS system. Proper flashing at all penetrations — fixing the failure point that caused the damage in the first place.

4:30 PM

Document and Report

Photograph every stage of the work. Dallas provides homeowners with a complete written record. This is how trust gets built and referrals happen.

What We're Looking For Dallas Hires for Character First. Skills Second.

Water damage work requires curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow a problem to its source. Dallas can teach the technical skills to the right person.

Problem-Solving Mindset

Water damage is detective work. You need to enjoy finding the source of a problem, not just treating the symptom.

Construction Knowledge

Understanding of building assemblies — how walls are built, how moisture moves through them. Experience in any construction trade is helpful.

Attention to Detail

Missing moisture behind a wall leads to callbacks and failed repairs. You need to be thorough.

Communication Skills

You'll be interacting with homeowners who are stressed about your property. Calm, clear communication is essential.

Physical Fitness

Demo work is physical. Carrying debris, working in confined spaces, extended time on ladders.

The best water damage techs are genuinely curious about how buildings work and how they fail.

Why Work Here This Isn't Your Average Contractor Job.

Most contractor jobs mean working for whoever showed up today. At Christensen Stucco you work for Dallas — one owner, one crew, one standard. That means something.

$20–$34 / Hour

Paid based on your actual skill level. Dallas doesn't lowball good people.

No seasonal layoffs. Dallas keeps his crew working 12 months a year.

Learn From a Master

50 years of stucco knowledge. Most crews never get this kind of training.

Real Crew — No Subs

You're a Christensen crew member — not a day laborer. That's a different thing.

Quality Work You're Proud Of

Dallas doesn't cut corners. You'll build things that last 40 years and know it.

Direct Access to Dallas

No HR department. No middle management. You work directly with the owner.

From Dallas

Water damage work is the most interesting thing I do. Every job is a puzzle — water gets in somewhere, travels somewhere else, shows up somewhere you didn't expect. I've been solving these puzzles for 50 years and I still find it fascinating. If you have that same curiosity — I'll teach you everything I know.
