Pool and Spa Technician

• 1.
  ** Routine Maintenance:
  ** Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks on pools and hot tubs, including cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing, and equipment checks.

  ** Repair and Troubleshooting:
  ** Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues affecting pools and hot tubs, such as leaks, pump malfunctions, heater problems, and filtration issues.
• 3.
  ** Equipment Installation:
  ** Install and configure new pool and hot tub equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and automated control systems, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance.
• 4.
  ** Water Treatment:
  ** Administer appropriate chemical treatments to maintain water quality and sanitation levels within established health and safety standards, including adjusting pH levels, chlorine, and alkalinity.
• 5.
  ** Customer Service:
  ** Interact with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide guidance on pool and hot tub maintenance, usage, and safety practices.
• 6.
  ** Documentation and Reporting:
  ** Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and customer interactions. Generate reports as needed for documentation and billing purposes.
• 7.
  ** Safety Compliance:
  ** Adhere to relevant regulations and industry standards for pool and hot tub maintenance, safety, and sanitation. Ensure that all work is conducted in a safe manner, using appropriate personal protective equipment and following proper procedures.

  ** Continuous Learning:
  ** Stay updated on advancements in pool and hot tub technology, equipment, and maintenance practices through training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

• - Proven experience in pool and hot tub maintenance, repair, and water treatment. Although, we are willing to train the right candidate.
• - Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and pool equipment operation.
• - Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• - Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety protocols accurately.
• - Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• - Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
• - Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for travel to client locations.
