Mine Electrical Specialist – Must be willing to relocate

We're hiring now for Underground Mine Electrician in Scofield, UT

• Weekly pay of $28.00 per hour minimum (DOE)

• Assist the electrical department with safety and compliance with all applicable laws, codes and safe work procedures.
• Observe and inspect electrical work to assist management in their training needs of other electrical technicians.
• Develop and share effective and efficient work methods. Develop and implement best practices.
• Become intimate with monitoring and control systems - (PLC's, Conspec, RsViews)
• Demonstrate proper electrical procedures and compliance with company policies.
• Use creativity in problem solving and the enhancement of existing systems
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Review new technologies and implement where practical as directed
• Assist management in developing training programs for technicians.
• Follow up on electrical work and permissibility inspections
• Involved with planning monthly electrical inspections
• Maintain proper quality standards and cost awareness
• Proactive approach to optimizing available resources
• Assist in annual electrical retraining.

• Multiple shifts available
• Day/night shifts

• Minimum of four years' experience working with mining electronics and electrical systems
• MSHA low, medium and high voltage electrical certification of the ability to obtain
• Demonstrated knowledge of motor control technology, circuit sizing and design.
• Must have Underground and Surface MSHA electrical certifications
• Excellent knowledge of all applicable MSHA and NEC regulations
• Demonstrated knowledge and support of all company policies
• Must have Utah Fire boss certification or ability to obtain
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Able to pass a background check
• Willingness to teach others
• Able to work in the US
