Excavator​/Operator

We are seeking an experienced Excavator/Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating a variety of heavy equipment, a strong understanding of excavation and grading work, and a commitment to working safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will operate excavators and other heavy equipment on commercial projects while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

• Safely and efficiently operate excavators and other heavy equipment.
• Perform digging, trenching, grading, back filling, and site preparation.
• Operate equipment around utilities, structures, workers, and other job-site hazards.
• Read and follow site plans, grades, and project specifications.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain equipment and identify potential mechanical problems.
• Assist with general site work and labor tasks when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Work effectively with foremen, laborers, and other equipment operators.

• 3+ years of professional heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate excavators and a variety of construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Experience with grading, trenching, utility work, site development, or earthwork preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction safety procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.
