CompensationThe hourly rate for this position, based on the established minimum qualifications, is outlined below:
- $19.25 per hour
Compensation is based on the shift and related differential, so if an employee hired to work a swing shift moves to either a day or graveyard/weekend shift, the hourly rate is adjusted automatically in the payroll system.
Shift DifferentialPsych techs at both the CRU and Receiving Center are eligible for shift differential compensation, as outlined below:
Swing Shift
- Monday through Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm or 4:00 pm to 12:00 am shifts
- 2% shift differential
Graveyard and Weekends
- Monday through Friday 11:00 pm to 7:00 am or 12:00 am to 8:00

- Weekend differentials are not in addition to other shift differentials.
- 15%
Part‑time psych techs who are scheduled for a specific on‑call shift are eligible to receive a $20 per diem for each on‑call shift they are scheduled.
The per diem is compensated on a monthly basis during the pay period in which the last day of the month falls. When an employee is called in during one of their on‑call shifts, they are expected to arrive on the unit within 30 minutes of the call. When contacted to provide coverage before the start of a shift, the expectation is that the employee arrives at the scheduled start time of that shift.
