The Pride Group of Northwest Iowa is seeking an administrative assistant for our Le Mars location. This position functions under the direct supervision of the Administrator. In addition to typing, filing and phone reception, this position performs duties such as financial record keeping, employee support, resident reporting and other duties as assigned by the administrator. Also, answers non-routine correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information.

Deals with a diverse group of external visitors as well as internal residents of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload, recommends changes in office practices or procedures.

Essential Functions
  • Opens and closes office; scheduled hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm;
    Monday – Friday
  • Answers phones; forwards messages to office personnel and responds to resident needs as needed
  • Coordinates monthly in-service trainings; maintains attendance records and information records
  • Completes admission packets for Supported Community Living residents
  • Coordinates residents ICP’s; issues invitations to meetings, types reports and processes mailings
  • Types and processes quarterly reports of residents
  • Coordinates and completes quality assurance checks for HCBS and SCL residents records
  • Coordinates and completes case file reviews for HCBS, SCL and GH residents case files
  • Coordinates and implements orientation for newly hired employees
  • Maintains employee schedules
  • Attend monthly in-service meetings as scheduled
  • Attend monthly SCL and team leader meetings as scheduled
  • Completes any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by Administrator
Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

High School Diploma or GED required

Previous office experience

Clean criminal record

Able to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
