Med surg Adult, Critical Access Hospital RN, Staff RN

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in both Mother/Baby and Adult Med-Surgical units at a Critical Access Hospital. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with diverse patient populations, providing acute care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide nursing care to mother/baby patients including postpartum, newborn assessments, and lactation support.
• Care for adult med-surgical patients, including wound care, medication administration, and patient education.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, assess changes, and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in patient records.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management, medications, and post-discharge care.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• 2+ years experience in Med-Surgical units;
  Mother/Baby experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience in a Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare setting preferred.
