Salary Range: $17.00 - $25.50 per hour plus a $2,500 Sign‑On Bonus.

- Provide resident‑centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Assist with basic health care needs such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital sign monitoring, and psychosocial support.
- Support residents in transferring, repositioning, and walking using proper transfer techniques and equipment; provide range‑of‑motion and passive exercises.
- Complete food preparation tasks and facilitate a positive dining experience for residents.
- Assist with meals and snacks, ensuring water and supplements are provided as appropriate.
- Aid providers and nursing staff with procedures as needed.
- Document resident interactions, care outcomes, behavior, activity, and dietary information.
- Communicate changes in resident condition and related concerns to the charge nurse.
- Collect non‑invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Maintain housekeeping and laundry services to keep resident living areas clean and operational.
- Assist with wellness and recreational programs, encouraging resident participation.
- Participate in departmental or organizational committees and task forces as required.
- High school graduate or GED (preferred but not required).
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long‑term care preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification within four months of start date or enrollment in a training program.
- Completion of yearly competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits (minimum 12 hours annually).
- Maintenance of all required department‑specific certifications.
- For applicable states, registration with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry.
- Potential classification as a Sanford Category II Driver; must provide a motor vehicle report and valid driver’s license, and meet medical qualification standards.
