Spherion Staffing has an exciting direct hire opportunity for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician in Mankato, MN! We're partnering with a thriving company in Le Mars, IA and are looking for a skilled technician to join their team. This is a fantastic chance to secure a stable, long-term position with no probationary period through Spherion.

As a Fleet Technician, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of diesel trucks, trailers, and other equipment. We're seeking a candidate with solid technical knowledge and a strong work ethic.

Monday - Friday 6:00AM-3:30PM

• $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment.
• Conduct repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Inspect and repair diesel engines, suspension, clutches, Allison transmissions, drivetrain, hydraulic systems, steering systems, fuel systems, electrical components, HVAC, and air brake systems.
• Diagnose driver complaints accurately to identify root causes of component failures.
• Perform welding as needed.
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment, including tools and equipment.
• Complete annual inspections.

Skills:

• MN Inspection Certified (willingness to obtain if not already certified).

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in Diesel Engine Repair.
• 2+ years of Mechanical Knowledge.
• Must have your own tools to perform job duties. Tool reimbursement program available.
• Reliably commute to Mankato, MN, or plan to relocate before starting work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
