The OpportunityAre you a heavy-hitter in the offshore energy space who understands that in the Upstream world, "safety" isn't just a checklist—it’s a mission-critical operation?
We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join a global leader in industrial services space offering gas detection, safety services, and specialized offshore services. This isn't a "commodity" sales role. You will be the lead architect for high-level relationships within the Upstream sector, managing a portfolio that keeps offshore personnel safe and operations compliant - with both Operators and Service Contractors.
From advanced gas detection systems to comprehensive industrial safety services, and everything inbetween, you will be the face of a brand that the biggest names in the Gulf of America (and beyond) trust with their lives and assets.
What You’ll Be Doing- Strategic Growth: Own and expand relationships with major Upstream operators, service contractors and providers, and offshore drilling contractors.
- Contract Management: Lead the charge on large-scale RFPs and Master Service Agreements (MSAs), ensuring the value proposition is clear and the margins are healthy.
- Offshore Expertise: Navigate the specific nuances of the Upstream business—understanding the urgency of turnaround schedules, offshore mobilization, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations teams to ensure the "boots on the ground" service matches the "Executive level" promise.
- The Industry Veteran: You have a proven track record (5+ years) in the Upstream/Offshore sector. You know the players, the platforms, and the pain points.
- The Safety Mindset: Experience in safety services, gas detection, or industrial rentals is highly preferred.
- The Local Expert: You are based in or willing to commute to the SE Houston / League City area, giving you easy access to the energy corridor and the ports.
- The Relationship Builder: You don't just "check-in" on clients; you provide value every time you speak to them.
- The Closer: You have a history of hitting and exceeding multi-million dollar annual quotas.
- High-Impact Portfolio: Manage the "Upstream Side" of a business that is a dominant force in the industry.
