At The Learning Experience, We have designed a curriculum around the six stages of development and built a foundation for all kids to learn, play, and grow in our state-of-the-art facilities under the care of nurturing teachers and staff.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, creative, and positive person to join our team. Our hours of operation are from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. We are looking to hire a full-time Toddler Teacher for our center. In this position, you will be working with children from 1 year of age to 2 years old.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

* Working with children on art, sign language, helping them express themselves, leading story time, etc.

* Be positive, energetic, and upbeat with the children as you guide them through the day.

* Providing feedback to the parents about their child's day.

* Being a creative teacher, who enjoys working with young children!

Skills, Education, and Experience

* Previous experience teaching and working with children in any setting

* A great personality

* Good work ethic

* Excellent communication skills

* Preferred Two- year degree (in a child-related field) or higher/ Has EDU 119

* NC Credentials I & II/ CDA required

* Preferred CPR & First Aid Certification

* Qualifying Criminal Background Check Letter from North Carolina DCDEE

* Preferred ITS/SIDS Training Certification

* Able to interact with Students of all ages and development levels.
