Primary Purpose
Provide campus-wide push-in prevention and intervention support for general education students with frequent or severe behavioral needs. Strengthen teacher capacity by improving classroom behavior systems and instructional practices. Prioritize keeping students in the classroom, using short-term removal only for safety concerns or intense dysregulation. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
QualificationsEducation/Certification/Licensure
Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university
One of the following required:
Valid Texas Teacher Certification
Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
Valid Texas School Counselor Certification
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Special Knowledge/SkillsStrong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
Solution-oriented problem solving
Knowledge of instructional strategies and evidence-based behavior practices
Ability to collect, analyze, and use data to inform decisions
Experience supporting resistant learners and students with behavioral challenges
Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills
ExperienceMinimum of three (3) years of classroom teaching experience (preferred)
Experience developing and implementing individualized behavior and/or safety plans in an educational setting (preferred)
Major Responsibilities and Duties- Provide push-in support to strengthen Tier I behavior systems, student engagement, and model effective classroom management practices
- Conduct data-driven coaching cycles focused on classroom management and Tier I behavior supports
- Build teacher capacity to sustain effective practices independently including coteaching in classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, parents, and district staff to develop and implement behavior intervention plans and safety plans
- Use short-term removal only for significant safety concerns or intense dysregulation, prioritizing quick reintegration into the classroom
- Deliver small-group behavior skills instruction to targeted students.
- Work with campus and district staff to develop, implement, and monitor behavior and safety plans
- Provide ongoing campus professional learning on Tier I classroom systems and Tier II behavior supports
- Lead the campus Tier I Behavior Team and facilitate monthly meetings.
- Serve on the Tier II Behavior Team, using data to identify students, develop interventions, and monitor progress using data
- Participate in staffings, conferences, and SST meetings for behavior-related cases.
- Partner with district staff and outside agencies to address and support student behavioral, psychological, and social emotional needs
- Support campus crisis teams as needed

- Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
- Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
- Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
- Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
