As a CCISD employee, your primary purpose is to carry out the lesson plans of the teacher you are substituting and meet teaching duties as outlined in district policies, contributing to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
Application Requirements- Submit a single application for substitute teacher or substitute special education aide; only one application will be processed per applicant.

Special Knowledge/SkillsFluent in English (written and spoken).
OtherCompletion of district substitute orientation.
Substitutes must be fingerprinted and required to pass the background check; employment is based on an acceptable criminal history.
Major Responsibilities and Duties Instructional Strategies- Follow lesson plans left by the teacher for whom you are substituting in accordance with the district’s philosophy, goals, and objectives.
- Meet and instruct assigned classes in the designated locations and times.
- Establish and maintain order in the classroom.
- Maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, materials, equipment, and facilities.
- Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and school Board policies.
- Cooperate with school personnel.
- Report to the principal or his/her designee at the beginning and end of the school day.

- Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
- Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
- Maintain friendly customer‑service‑driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co‑workers.
- Work cooperatively with co‑workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
- Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e., email, written, and verbal).
- Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.

Working Condition- Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions.
