Responsibilities
- Supervise the fitness area
:
Ensure equipment is used properly and safely and intervene when necessary. - Assist members
:
Answer questions about equipment, classes, or general fitness guidance. - Maintain cleanliness
:
Wipe down machines, organize weights, and report any maintenance issues. - Enforce rules
:
Monitor behavior to ensure safety and respect among members. - Lead or support activities
:
Sometimes help with group classes, orientations, or special events too.
Skills & Traits
- Strong communication and customer service
- Basic fitness knowledge
Ability to stay alert and proactive - Team-oriented mindset
- CPR or first aid certification (often required)
