Salary Range: $157,470 - $210,000

(Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.).

The Olefins & Polymers USA (O&P USA) Business within INEOS includes the product lines Ethylene, Propylene, Butadiene, Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE). Our 4 Manufacturing sites encompass Chocolate Bayou Works (Alvin, TX), Battleground Manufacturing Complex (LaPorte, TX), and Carson (Carson, CA), with a division office in League City, TX. The purpose of this role is to provide leadership/guidance to the process engineering function within the larger capital organization on all process engineering-related aspects of capital projects. This role will provide guidance to the process engineering function in collaboratively defining needs by translating operational requirements into process specifications, developing & evaluating solutions (optioneering), ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables and support operational readiness for successful project delivery.

The Business Capital Investment portfolio stretches across O&P USA’s (4) Manufacturing sites and all O&P USA corporate functions.

In addition to specific major Business projects, the typical annual Capital investment spend is in excess of $250MM. This role will support the delivery of the annual $250MM Capital investment spend.

Accountability 1: Ensure the deliverables developed by process engineering function (designs, specifications, calculations, etc.) fully comply with relevant business standards, engineering codes, regulatory requirements, and project-specific expectations (including Project Design Basis). This includes overseeing the quality and accuracy of all engineering work performed by the process engineering function.

• Knowledgeable:
  Possesses a strong understanding of relevant engineering principles, standards, and regulations to provide guidance to the function
• Ensuring compliance:
  Ensures process and procedures are in place to drive the development of complete engineering deliverables aligning with INEOS specifications, engineering codes, regulatory requirements, and project-specific expectations
• Quality Focused:
  Leads the process engineering function to prioritize the accuracy, reliability and integrity of all process engineering deliverables while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
• Oversight:
  Reviews engineering quality metrics and understands Key performance indicators and anticipate potential quality issues. Makes recommendations for appropriate changes to processes and procedures to address deficiencies.
• SHE and Engineering Alignment:
  Champions compliance with SHE including applicable audits, corrective action tracking and incident investigation as applicable. Ensures process safety is incorporated at the initial stage of project design.
• Project Initiation to Project Documentation close out Accountability:
  Supports the broader capital engineering function in driving project progression from feasibility study through engineering, construction, commissioning/start-up and document close out in the electronic document management system along with SAP uploads for asset management.
• Operational Readiness Accountability:
  Ensures process engineering function is supporting operational readiness and eventual asset ownership by operations. This includes commissioning sequencing/planning & integration into construction schedules, timely handover of engineering deliverables, training & SOP development support, approval of document to be uploaded in the electronic document management systems, and maintenance management system population (e.g., SAP).
• New Technology:
  Work with Technical authority community to introduce new technology to the business.
