Counter Sales Representative – Ferguson

Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative.

Monday–Friday 7 am – 5 pm, 40 hours per week, plus Saturday rotation every 8 weeks 7:30 am–12 pm.

Starts at $20.60 per hour and may increase based on experience. Pay range: $20.60 – $28.82 per hour.

• Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs.
• Process orders via the order management system.
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures.
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards.
• Ensure merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas.
• Maintain a safe working environment, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

• 3–5 years of customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• 1+ year of plumbing and/or HVAC product knowledge strongly preferred.
• General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• General math skills for cash accounting.
• Strong decision‑making and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn.
