Job Overview

Trillium Construction is now seeking Concrete Carpenters around the League City, TX area! Trillium is now seeking journeymen and apprentice level Concrete Workers for a job at an Amazon facility for the next 8 weeks.

Candidates will be responsible for demoing out old concrete slabs in the parking lot/docking area of the plant. They will also be asked to cut out old curbing, set new forms, lay #5 rebar, pour, grade/level, and finish the small pads for new EV Charging stations to be installed. They will be asked to help install around 250 bolt-down bollards as well.

Candidates must be able to read plans, set grade, and be proficient in finishing concrete and using all hand and power tools. They must be able to run/operate a small skid steer as well.

Pay is $28/hour for journeymen and $24/hour for apprentices. This job starts on June 16th and will involve working 50 hour weeks on average. The workday starts at 7:30 AM each day. Candidates might also be asked to lay down some sod after the job is winding down.

• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens
• Reliable transportation to and from the site daily
• Have all appropriate hand tools and operate all necessary power tools (hammer drill, impact, concrete saw)
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Need to be able to set wood forms, pour, level, and finish concrete as needed
