$14–$20 per hour, depending on experience and skill set.

• Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation
• Oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance
• Multi‑point inspections & documenting vehicle conditions
• Keeping the shop clean, organized, and safe
• Driving vehicles safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws
• Picking up parts and supplies, transporting customers as needed
• Following all safety procedures and reporting any concerns to the direct supervisor
• Supporting team members with other assigned tasks
• Adhering to Sun Auto’s core values and all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Sun Auto Tire & Service Employee Handbook

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Some knowledge of basic automotive systems (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Flexibility to work Saturdays (with Sundays off!)

The General Service Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non‑hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.

The General Service Technician must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and be able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to handle objects frequently
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
• Communicate with customers and shop personnel
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re‑focus

Previous automotive experience preferred, but we will consider energetic and hard‑working individuals with a passion for cars. Candidates must have a high level of motivation and be able to work in a fast‑paced environment – there is always something to do.
