Job Summary

As a Part-Time Preschool Spanish Teacher at Celebree School™, you'll create fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate Spanish language experiences for preschool-aged children. Through songs, stories, games, movement, and hands-on activities, you'll introduce children to Spanish vocabulary and conversation while helping build confidence and excitement around learning a second language.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate Spanish lessons and activities for preschool-aged children.
  • Introduce basic Spanish vocabulary, phrases, numbers, colors, greetings, and conversational language through play-based learning.
  • Incorporate Spanish songs, music, movement, storytelling, games, and hands-on activities into lessons.
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment where children feel comfortable participating and practicing a new language.
  • Adapt lessons and activities to meet the developmental needs and learning styles of young children.
  • Encourage language development through repetition, conversation, visual materials, and interactive experiences.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe learning environment.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and school leadership to incorporate Spanish learning into the preschool experience.
  • Communicate positively and professionally with children, families, teachers, and school leadership.
Qualifications
  • Fluency or strong proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Experience teaching or working with preschool or early childhood-aged children preferred.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
  • Ability to create engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate Spanish lessons.
  • Strong communication, organization, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
  • Must meet all applicable Texas childcare licensing, background check, and training requirements.
