Mechanical Design Engineer for a leading provider of traffic safety and roadway solutions. This position is based near Austin, TX. The ideal candidate possesses mechanical design experience, proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, product testing, and engineering documentation.

• Responsible for the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of traffic safety and roadway solutions
• Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, assemblies, and product documentation utilizing CAD software
• Support the full product lifecycle from concept development through production launch and sustaining engineering activities
• Develop innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable products that meet customer requirements, industry standards, and company objectives.
• Support production teams by troubleshooting design, assembly, and manufacturing challenges.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Must have at least three (3) years of mechanical design experience
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, CREO, Solid Works, or equivalent)
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, product testing, and engineering documentation
