SUMMARYThe HR Analyst (People Analytics & Reporting) is a key member of the HR Operations team, responsible for transforming workforce data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role partners across HR, Finance, and leadership to design, build, and deliver reporting, dashboards, and analytics leveraging Workday and other HR systems.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in HR processes, advanced analytical capability, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
This role will play a foundational part in building and scaling the organization’s people analytics function, including defining key metrics, establishing reporting standards, and influencing strategic workforce decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES People Analytics & Reporting- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports within Workday to support HR, Finance, and executive leadership
- Develop and track key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, retention, headcount, time-to-fill, internal mobility, compensation trends)
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within workforce data and provide actionable recommendations
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting outputs
- Create intuitive, executive-ready dashboards and visualizations
- Leverage reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Workday dashboards, Excel, Power BI/Tableau if applicable)
- Standardize reporting packages for recurring business reviews (monthly, quarterly, board-level)
- Translate data into meaningful narratives tailored to different audiences (HR, leadership, executives)
- Prepare and present insights to leadership, including concise summaries and recommendations
- Partner with HR leaders to define success metrics aligned to business objectives
- Serve as a subject matter expert for HR data structures within Workday
- Partner with HRIS and IT to enhance reporting capabilities and data architecture
- Support data governance practices, including alignment with SOX controls and audit readiness
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years of experience in Workday administration or similar HRIS/ERP systems
- Ability to perform work under minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills required
- Must possess an end user experience mindset
