The Senior Superintendent serves as the primary field liaison between project teams and company leadership, setting standards for field execution, mentoring superintendents, and proactively resolving high‑impact issues. This position plays a critical role in strategic planning, workforce development, and maintaining Loenbro’s reputation for multi‑scope project excellence.
Supervisory Responsibilities- Leadership Development — Mentor, coach, and elevate field leadership, ensuring superintendents and foremen are aligned with Loenbro’s operational standards and culture.
- Provide structured performance evaluations and support career progression for field leaders.
- Ensure project teams have the resources, information, and support needed to execute efficiently.
- Oversee multiple projects and teams across diverse locations, balancing priorities and resource allocation.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational discipline.
- Interpret and enforce contract terms, scope, and deliverables across all assigned projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure all materials, equipment, inspections, and manpower are coordinated to support project schedules.
- Serve as the senior authority for site safety
, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. - Partner with project teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and manpower plans; monitor labor, equipment, materials, and productivity.
- Lead preconstruction planning, including site logistics, temporary facilities, and work sequencing.
- Review and validate project plans, specifications, and manufacturer data; ensure constructability and alignment with project goals.
- Oversee 3‑week look‑ahead schedules and ensure alignment with the master schedule; drive accountability for schedule performance.
- Collaborate with project engineers to generate and resolve RFIs; ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Review and approve submittals for compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Lead the implementation of the company’s quality control program, ensuring consistent execution across all projects.
- Conduct regular on‑site meetings with subcontractors and trade partners to coordinate work and resolve issues.
- Travel as required to support project needs and field leadership oversight.
- Proven ability to lead large, multi‑disciplinary field teams across multiple locations.
- Advanced project management skills, including cost control, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Highly independent, decisive, and capable of managing competing priorities.
- Ability to interpret complex project documentation and identify constructability issues.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Physical ability to navigate active construction sites, including uneven terrain, ladders, and extended periods on foot; ability to work varied schedules as required.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
MinimumRequired Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in the electrical trade with at least 3 years working in data center construction.
- Experience managing projects with multiple crews of at least 150 craft employees.
- Proficiency interpreting and comprehending electrical drawings, submittals, specifications, and BIM detailing is essential for this role.
- Strong organizational ability with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and industry standards.
