Director, , Restaurant​/Food Service

Directors own multiple sections of the business and are responsible for executing their main two objectives of executing operations with excellence and growing Team Members. They must consistently demonstrate our core values, embrace the Chick-fil-A culture and have a servant’s heart. They must have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times.

They are to provide coaching and accountability to the team throughout their shifts. Directors are tasked with using and modeling all the organizational content and strategies. They are tasked with identifying improvement opportunities in the business, finding solutions, implementing the solutions, and then incorporating those solutions into our restaurant systems, so they become part of our culture’s DNA.

• Owns executing operational excellence in the sections of business with which they are entrusted
• Owns the growth and development of Team Members in the sections of business they lead
• Constantly coaching Team Members on checklist, task and guest interaction standards throughout the day
• Owns the training of new hires, sets the tone for their sections of the business, and is constantly looking for opportunities for the team to improve
• Must be a friendly and encouraging leader that develops their people

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must be able to work Saturdays
• Ability to work and lead the fast-paced environment in multiple sections of the business
• Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members
• Strong commitment to superior customer service
• Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues across the business
• Ability to work in a Director Team to improve the whole restaurant to better service guests and increase overall business health in sales and profits
• Have the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
• Have the ability to work outside for long periods of time
• Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required, but preferred
