Position: Full Time Assistant Store Manager (Store 5836)
Game Stop - 651 North US Highway 183, Suite 235 - Responsibilities:
Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions, assist with gaming needs, explain promotions, and showcase selling behaviors throughout transactions;
Support the store environment and current sales initiatives to drive guest relationships and repeat business;
Process guest purchases and returns accurately using the POS system, including issuing receipts and handling changes;
Respond to guest inquiries by phone or in person, escalate issues to the Store Manager as needed;
Assist the Store Manager with training and onboarding of associates, ensuring policy compliance and consistent guest service standards;
Observe associate performance and provide timely feedback to align with company expectations and store goals;
Schedule store personnel to meet guidelines for breaks and meals while maintaining optimal staffing levels;
Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the Store Manager’s absence; ensure adherence to policies and procedures;
Approve payroll-related tasks and verify time worked; manage banking deposits as required;
Maintain clean, organized, and merchandised store areas; ensure fixtures and equipment function properly;
Ensure Omni-Channel orders are fulfilled and shipped daily;
Protect company assets through inventory control and loss prevention practices; inspect packages at close and during shift changes;
Maintain store records and ensure manuals are up to date;
Complete daily closeout paperwork and bank deposits accurately; ensure sufficient cash available
