This is a full-time, on-site Commission Sales Associate role based in Leander, TX. The Commission Sales Associate will proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage an active sales pipeline, and maintain regular contact with existing customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and cold outreach, preparing and delivering product quotes, following up on leads, and closing sales to meet or exceed revenue targets.
The role will also involve maintaining accurate records in the company’s CRM or sales tracking tools, coordinating with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, and providing product information and support to customers. The Commission Sales Associate is expected to represent Ticon Industries in a professional manner, participate in occasional meetings or trainings, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented sales environment.
- Proven experience in commission-based or quota-driven sales, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or related product environments.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
- Comfort with prospecting, cold calling, and managing a sales pipeline from lead generation to closing.
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) to track and report sales activities.
- Ability to work on-site in Leander, TX, manage time effectively, and operate with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business, sales, or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial or technical products is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn product lines and industry terminology is essential.
- Capacity to stand, walk, or move through warehouse or shop areas as needed to understand products and support customer needs.
