General Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Electrical Warranty Service Technician to join our team servicing the Leander area. This role is responsible for responding to and resolving residential warranty service calls, diagnosing electrical issues, and ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to residential warranty service requests in the Leander area.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in homes.
- Perform necessary repairs to meet warranty standards and company expectations.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and correctly the first time.
- Identify electrical system malfunctions and determine appropriate solutions.
- Repair or replace defective wiring, devices, panels, and related components.
- Verify system functionality and safety after repairs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, explaining issues, repairs, and resolutions.
- Provide a high level of customer service to maintain strong client relationships.
- Accurately document all service calls, work performed, and materials used.
- Complete work orders and service tickets in a timely manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national regulations.

Experience:
2‑4.
- Minimum Residential Wireman License (required).
- Warranty service experience highly preferred but not required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, write, and speak).
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must pass a background screening and drug test.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
Field‑based role servicing residential homes in the Leander area. Work may be performed in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions, exposing the technician to heat, dust, and tight working spaces. The position is fast‑paced, requiring good time management and adaptability. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and tolerate varying weather conditions.
