About the Role
AHI Supply is opening a new location in Leander, TX and is looking for an experienced CDL Local Delivery Driver with a Hazardous Materials Endorsement and piggyback forklift experience. The driver will safely deliver construction materials, perform inspections and documentation, and provide outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate a Class A CDL flatbed tractor‑trailer.
- Deliver construction materials to customer job sites.
- Make local deliveries throughout Leander and surrounding areas, and occasionally between Leander and Buda.
- Load, strap, secure, and tarp flatbed loads.
- Unload materials using a piggyback forklift.
- Complete required pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and all DOT documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers throughout the day.
- Maintain assigned equipment in a safe, clean, and serviceable condition.
- Follow all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and AHI Supply safety requirements.
Monday‑Friday, 5:00 AM until all work is completed. Must be available to work Saturdays as business needs require.
Compensation & Benefits- Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour.
- Sign‑On Bonus: $1,500.
- $750 paid after 6 weeks of successful employment.
- $750 paid after 6 months of successful employment.
- Home Every Day.

- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
- Hazardous Materials Endorsement (HME) required at the time of hire.
- Previous piggyback forklift experience required.
- Must be able to successfully pass a road test in a standard manual‑transmission truck.
- Flatbed delivery experience preferred.
- Knowledge of proper load securement and tarping procedures.
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
