We’re looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering an exceptional, seamless experience for our visitors, throughout their food and beverage experience s is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, excellence, customer service and the world of food & beverage.
The Role- Organising and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, taking responsibility for our guests and employees.
- Ensuring the restaurant team receive appropriate training including; onboarding, menu changes and health and safety.
- Supporting the restaurant to achieve all of its targets in sales, costs, guest service and satisfaction.
- To ensure that payroll is accurately updated and maintained on a daily basis, including T&A data, absence and holidays.
- Ensuring an informative team handover during daily briefings and between shifts, communicating all relevant information.
- You thrive on delivering high standards and have experience of successfully leading, inspiring, and motivating your team to do the same.
- Experienced in developing your team on product knowledge, menu contents and ingredients, to enhance the guest experience will be a daily focus.
- You will have excellent presence, personal presentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial management processes including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and profit & loss accounts.
- Experience working in a 5-star, luxury property with LQA standards is desirable.
- This position will consist of 45 hours per week, working any 5 days out of 7.
- The typical shift times for this position will consist of: 06:45-17:00, 11:30-22:00, 11:30-01:00 or 15:00-01:00, with some variation dependent upon business needs.
