Position Summary:
Incumbent will provide quality service to customers of KCI, while providing accurate information for orders and products. Responsible for entry of accurate information regarding orders, requisitions and vouchers. Will perform clerical duties for the Sales and Marketing Division to include but not limited to; answer calls, handle mail, respond to customer inquiries by phone, email or fax. Create reports, maintain files and documentation.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
* Answers incoming calls and responds to the caller or redirects them to the appropriate party, while maintaining the appropriate level of professionalism.
* Processes orders, complaints, generates and distributes pick up orders to Warehouse, and appropriate division and requests that they are received through various methods including, but not limited to, email, fax, phone, mail and walk-in.
* Creates and maintains part numbers in Item Master. Maintains Customer Master.
* Enters agency requisitions in the computer using KCI's manufacturing software. Reviews requisitions, purchase orders, receiving reports and vouchers for the purpose of detecting shortages and verifying receipt of merchandise.
* Maintains vendor file for source selection. Checks payment status for the purpose of reconciling monthly statements.
* Verifies that vendor information on purchase orders matches SMART and enters interfund.
* Verify and proofread documents for accuracy and completeness.
* Enters data in a high production environment.
* Works with the Sales and Marketing Manager and Sales and Marketing staff to develop and maintain product specific literature in desktop publishing and WEB accessible formats.
Qualifications
* Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency
Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements:
Must pass a physical exam, background investigation, submit a State of Kansas Tax Clearance and take and pass a drug screening test approved by the Division of Personnel Services.

Selection Process:
Applicants selected for interview will be evaluated by an interview panel using performance/behavior based interview questions.
