The Goddard Special Education Cooperative is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable IEP Reader to support the special education department.
Position SummaryThe IEP Reader is responsible for reviewing Individualized Education Program (IEP) documents to ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations. This role ensures that all IEPs are accurate, complete, and legally compliant prior to finalization or submission. This is an in-person position within the Cooperative (not remote).
Key Responsibilities- Review IEP documents for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Identify errors or missing components and provide feedback
- Collaborate with special education staff to resolve compliance issues
- Support timely completion and submission of IEPs
- Knowledge of special education laws and IEP requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in special education or related field preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
