Branch Finance Controller

One of Our leading global commodity trading clients is seeking an experienced

Branch Finance Controller to manage the finance and accounting operations of its Kansas branch.

The role will be responsible for financial reporting, branch accounting, banking and trade finance, cash-flow management, reconciliation, audits,compliance, MIS reporting, internal controls and support to the commercial trading team.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, ERP experience and exposure to international trading, commodity trading or asimilar commercial environment.

• Manage end-to-end accounting and finance operations for the branch.
• Ensure accuraterecording of financial transactions in SAP, Q-Book or asimilar ERP system.
• Prepare monthlyfinancial statements, profit and loss reports, tradingaccounts and management reports.
• Perform bank reconciliation, ledger reviews and account reconciliation.
• Prepare daily, weeklyand monthly MIS reports.
• Manage cash flow,fund planning and working-capital requirements.
• Coordinate with banksfor trade-finance facilities, limits and documentation.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable and overdue collections.
• Support inventoryaccounting and fixed-asset register maintenance.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, local laws, taxation and statutory requirements.
• Review the financial aspects of commercial contracts.
• Support tradeexecution through KYC, documentation and coordination with customers, suppliers and banks.
• Strengthen financial processes, approval controls and internal checks.
• Ensure the smoothfunctioning of branch finance and administration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1.Prior experience working in Kansas City, USAfinance/accounting environment is strongly preferred
• 2. 5–7+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance,controllership, or financial management
• 3. CA (India) and/or CPA (USA) preferred
• 4. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and compliance
• 5. Experience working with multinational organizations, trading,manufacturing, or similar industries is an advantage
• 6. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• 7. Must have valid authorization to work in the United States
