Grant Coordinator – Position #K0228612 This unclassified, full-time position is located in the Parks Division at the Pratt Operations Office, Pratt, Kansas, and is directly supervised by the Parks Assistant Director of Administration.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) and Recreational Trails Program (RTP) in accordance with federal and state requirements.
- Coordinate grant solicitations, application reviews, awards, reimbursements, reporting, and project monitoring.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to grant applicants, project sponsors, and partner agencies.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including long-term stewardship and monitoring of LWCF-assisted properties.
- Coordinate development and updates to the Kansas Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP).
- Administer and support additional federal grant programs as assigned, including compliance, reimbursement, and reporting activities.
