Licensed Psychologist

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary mental health team dedicated to providing comprehensive psychological services across diverse populations. The ideal candidate will deliver evidence-based interventions, conduct thorough assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans to support clients' mental health and well-being. The Licensed Psychologist will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes through expert psychological evaluation and therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and individual psychological testing, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling across a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, including trauma-related disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, and behavioral health issues.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans incorporating cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based interventions.
• Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and appropriate follow-up.
• Collaborate with medical teams and social workers to coordinate patient care plans, especially for clients with complex needs such as disabilities or geriatrics.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
• Participate in research initiatives to advance clinical practices and contribute to ongoing professional development.
• Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to deliver therapy sessions and conduct mental health assessments remotely.
• Supervise junior staff or interns as needed, providing guidance on clinical best practices and ethical standards.
• Stay current with developments in psychology, including advancements in behavioral health treatments for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as a Psychologist in the respective jurisdiction.
• Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities.
• Proficiency in mental health diagnostics, psychological testing, and behavioral health assessments.
• Strong background in evidence-based interventions such as CBT and trauma-focused therapy.
• Experience working with neurodevelopmental disorders like autism spectrum disorder and trauma-related conditions such as PTSD.
• Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and remote assessment tools.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and clinical ethical guidelines.
• Supervisory experience preferred but not mandatory; willingness to mentor junior clinicians is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse populations; culturally competent approach is essential.
