We are seeking passionate candidates to support the United States Army and train military personnel at the National Simulation Center in the Analysis and Test Division.
- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that meet organizational requirements, transforming raw data from various sources into interactive visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support informed, data‑driven decisions.
- Connect and consolidate data from disparate sources, including enterprise systems (e.g., Army Vantage), databases (e.g., cProbe), spreadsheets, and cloud services, to provide a comprehensive view of organizational information.
- Conduct data modeling and transformation, including structuring, cleansing, and refining data to create robust and reliable data models for analysis.
- Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Create tailored dashboards and reports that convert complex data into actionable insights, making it easy to visualize and analyze critical information.
- Monitor data source integrity and the efficiency of data transformation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Maintain expertise in relevant Army data platforms and commercial BI tools to analyze and visualize data.
- This position may require some travel not to exceed 20%.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in military operations, military information technology, or military models and simulations.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with databases and data querying languages (e.g., SQL).
- Experience with Army data systems such as Army Vantage.
- Familiarity with cProbe or similar data environments.
- Experience with cloud‑based data platforms and services.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
