We are looking for a compassionate Behavioral Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

* Conduct initial assessments to determine mental health needs and establish a nursing diagnosis. This includes evaluating patients' mental health status and conditions based on medical history, symptoms, and behavioral observations

* Develop individualized care plans with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals

* Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects and responses to these medications

* Provide restorative care to patients, including individual and group therapy sessions. This may involve various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other modalities

* Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment plans, including coping strategies, self-care techniques, and medication compliance

* Respond to crises, using de-escalation techniques to manage behavioral emergencies and ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

* Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician.

* Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

* IV certification within 90 days of hire
