Full-Time 40 Hours Weekly

Salary: $27.61 per hour, plus shift pay: $5.00 for night shifts, $1.00 for PM shifts, $1.50 for weekends

Pay Grade: GH. The position is open until filled and offers a flexible schedule.

This position provides patient care within the scope of practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Responsibilities include preparing and administering prescribed medications and treatments, administering IV therapies, maintaining medical records, and monitoring the work of subordinates to ensure quality care. The role requires application of basic nursing principles, practices, and techniques following established healthcare procedures and standards.

• Recent developments in the field of professional nursing applicable to the area of assignment

• Maintain accurate records

• Operate a variety of medical equipment
• Make reports on observations
• Apply general nursing techniques and practices

• Deal effectively with patients and staff

• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or eligible to be licensed in South Dakota

Must undergo a background investigation, abuse and neglect screening, and drug screening. The State of South Dakota does not sponsor work visas. All employees must verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and complete an Employment Eligibility Verification, Form I-9. The position is temporary, nonbenefited, and exempt from civil service.
